Hi, I'm back from my vacation as of early this morning & really missed Mr. Man. I missed my husband too, of course! He wasn't able to come with me to visit my family back in Massachusetts. Mr. Man seemed somewhat happy to see me. I mean he can only let on so much, you know. So, he graciously agreed to pose for these photos.

Mr. Man Gets In Trouble! (So what's new?!)

These photos were taken this morning after Mr. Man created some chaos with a couple of neighborhood dogs that live in back of us. I heard this rutkus going on with the dogs, & I just knew Mr. Man was involved. Sure enough he had managed to jump up on this stockade fence and the 2 dogs went nuts barking upon seeing him. I called him through the window to get down, but the thing is the way this particular fence is situated he couldn't jump down without somehow getting hurt,(god knows how he even got up there) leaving him no choice but to actually jump into the yard with the dogs. Luckily the neighbor came outside & escorted Mr. Man out of the yard though the gate. I yelled for him to come home, which he did, but not without taking a few minutes to pout before he actually came in. So these are the photos...I think he's still pouting! Don't you feel sorry for him?

Mr. Man outdoors!

Well, Mr. Man has been enjoying the warmer weather and spends little time in the house these days. We've learned he's an "eat & run" cat. He hardly acknowledges us anymore except when there is no food in his dish.

He spent the entire night outside last night which was quite nice, because he had gotten into the habit of wanting to go out about 5AM everyday & we allowed this. So we got a break this morning. Who's in control here? Anyway, he's still our baby and does come in occasionally to make sure we still love him...and we do.

I took these photos today. He just loves to roll around in his favorite dirt patch.

Another Bird! "Yeah, that's right!"

Well I peeked out between the blinds about mid-morning today to see if Mr. Man was around. Well, he wasn't, but he had left evidence that he had been. A dead bird sat on the front porch. Yeah, that's nice, was all I could say. Doug wondered what I was mumbling about so he proceeded outside and took care of it.

I forgot to report another bird Mr. Man had gotten, so this makes 3 so far that he has left for presents. I watched him outside a good part of the day and of course he was on the hunt for birds. They are all around and it's pretty obvious he loves it. His lips quiver, and he makes these weird noises whenever there is a bird in sight. He is a very strange cat! I wonder when he's going to get a mouse?
